I have a story for you and it is not about how I suddenly woke up, decided I wanted to make a bunch of money on Etsy selling printables and became an overnight success. This is a story of how I sloowwwwlllllyyyyyy came to the realization that success on Etsy as a "Printables girl" was POSSIBLE for me. Once I got to THAT point, then yes, things took off from there. But, let's start at the beginning...

At the end of that month, I was at a turning point again. I had made $1000 in passive income, yes, but I knew it was mostly due to marketing to my list. How was I going to continue to make that amount in sales? I knew I couldn't keep marketing the same product to my same list month after month. At that moment, I was at a fork in the road where I almost went down the path of "Oh, maybe I'll create something new and sell that next." Luckily, I remembered a piece of advice that prevented me from doing that. I remembered Denise Duffield-Thomas (the Get Rich Lucky Bit#h lady) talking about how women have a tendency to keep creating something new over and over instead of sticking to one core, amazing product and finding endless ways of selling the SAME thing.
Kids are all about their birthdays, and we have hundreds of birthday cards for kids, including age-specific cards and featuring favorite licensed characters from Disney, Star Wars, My Little Pony, Spider-Man and many more. You'll even find twins birthday cards for those lucky enough to share a birthdate. If you're throwing a birthday party, use our fill-in-the-blank birthday invitations for quick, affordable invites.
It is traditional, among English-speakers, that at a birthday party, the song "Happy Birthday to You" be sung to the birthday person by the other guests celebrating the birthday. More specifically, the birthday person is traditionally presented with a birthday cake with lit candles, with the number of candles sometimes corresponding to the age of the person. After the song is sung (usually just once), party guests sometimes add wishes like "and many more!" expressing the hope that the birthday person will enjoy a long life. The birthday person may be asked to make a wish ("Make a wish!")—which he or she does silently—and then is supposed to blow out the candles. Traditionally, blowing out the candles is believed (or is considered a lighthearted superstition) to ensure that the wish will come true.[20] Once the candles have been blown out, people may applaud, after which the cake may be served, often with the first piece being served to the person whose birthday it is.
One more of my vintage illustrations: this time shabby-looking old fashioned retro photo camera. Illustration is based on my father's old Fujifilm finepix x100 camera. I had never used  this camera, I prefer instant digital photos. I can't imaging paying on each and every photo, just to see it. But I like vintage things and vintage clip art and I enjoy to share my finds.

What is the old saying…” something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe?….I honestly didn’t know about the “silver sixpence” line but in any case that was the inspiration for this wedding or bridal planner stickers printable.  I used a soft blue and soft rose pink color theme plus a few watercolor rose and magnolia images.  I hope you like it.

Use Adobe Acrobat Pro (this is a part of Adobe’s Creative Cloud Subscription). Find “tools” on the top menu. Select “Forms”, then “Edit”, and “Add New Fields”. This will allow you to create editable fields for your customers built right into your digital products. Note: you cannot copy and paste your fields throughout the document to add more than one editable filed.  Instead, select “Create Multiple Copies” to speed up the process. You will also be able to give fields multiple lines and make them rich text enabled so customers can change the size and fonts of the text.
I sell physical prints mostly out of the fear of someone reselling. Like you said, they could still do that with a physical copy by scanning but at least that’s a little more of a hassle. I’d also hate to see my art printed on shitty paper or the colors are completely off because the buyer (or print service they use) doesn’t put in the effort to get the colors just right.
Have I made my point yet?  They are not kidding when they say bioDIVERSITY.  There is literally every form of living thing available to choose from.  Butterflies and water fowl, more frogs, turtles and lizards than I ever knew existed.  Weird fancy pigeons, big and small game animals…it just goes on and on and on.  The only bad part is you can’t search for specific images but hey, it’s free!

There’s just something about a paper greeting card that never loses its charm for some of us. We like to hold the greeting in our hands, feel the crisp paper, run our fingers over the words and pictures as if we were trying to absorb the essence of the message. Most of all we like to see the handwritten notes and the signatures of our loved ones. While ecards may be viewed instantly and forgotten over time, printed cards can be saved, cherished and shared for years. Although ecards have replaced printed cards in many instances as the more convenient, inexpensive and quick mode of wishing one another, printed cards still retain that special quality that electronic messages cannot convey effectively.
Also, if you are new to this site, I wanted to let you know  that I have a board on Pinterest  that  you might want to follow that has several pins (ideas) by other planner designers, stationery, home office decor,  office supplies and planner freebies that are mostly planner related, you can view that board and/or follow here,  Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

My granddaughter starts kindergarten this year and she has sight words she'll need to know. We made her a set of flash cards with all 300 of her sight words for the year. I needed to get them done and shipped off so she could get a head start and they were here before I knew it. Easy to use, did a mail merge and printed them all out with minor corrections, mostly of the mea culpa variety.
If your customer would be benefitted by having the high-res or high color print professionally printed, suggest it. Even if it’s at your local Staples® make the suggestion to save them time and aggravation. If your products are business forms, to-do lists, etc., a home printer will do, so let them know. Have your cover sheet also include any specific instructions about your product, and a thank you.
A year passed. 2014 was drawing to a close and I had made a whopping total of...$186.00 Then, in December of 2014, I decided to put together something that was a little more exciting than a single page printable. I created what I called the "Plan, Do, Review" kit. It was super simple but useful, and yes - assembled painstakingly with Picmonkey. (Pssst! I no longer sell that kit in my Etsy store, but you can get it here for free with this secret link ;) >> Click HERE for the Plan, Do, Review kit.)
Do you have a blog? or have you thought of finding blogs in your niche to offer free printables to/ credit to your shop for review on their blog? possibly offer to do some work for a few blogs (a few freebies) in exchange put at bottom of printable (designed by GrinandPrint for Barefoot Budgeting) with your link in print? Also, twitter!! Instagram is really your best form of media for printables in my opinion but touching on them all and don’t give up. I’ve heard that the more you have in your shop and great key words (check your competition) are also great ways to increase views 🙂 Keep in touch if you think I can be of any assistance with any of these.
None of the early appearances of the "Happy Birthday to You" lyrics included credits or copyright notices. The Summy Company registered a copyright in 1935, crediting authors Preston Ware Orem and Mrs. R. R. Forman. In 1988, Warner/Chappell Music purchased the company owning the copyright for US$25 million, with the value of "Happy Birthday" estimated at US$5 million.[10][11] Based on the 1935 copyright registration, Warner claimed that the United States copyright will not expire until 2030, and that unauthorized public performances of the song are illegal unless royalties are paid to Warner. In one specific instance in February 2010, the royalty for a single use was said to be US$700.[12] By one estimate, the song is the highest-earning single song in history.[13] In the European Union, the copyright for the song expired on January 1, 2017.[14]

The programs we tested range in price from $10 to $50. Our favorite greeting card software for Mac landed near the bottom of that price range at $13 and has the best selection of templates and graphics. Some of the $40 programs have better sharing options and editing tools, but if you don’t need thousands of templates, we suggest checking out the low-cost software we tested.
I don't know if it's just the Avery software of what but these do not print the way that you see them on screen. It's incredibly frustrating when something is centered and there should be no problem with it printing centered on both the front and back but the cards end up overlapping and you can't print doubled sided because they just don't print right. I never have this type of problem when I print regular index cards or word/pdf documents so I'm going with its an Avery software glitch but as long as you print one-sided they're OK.
Love this list. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful printables. This is such a helpful post!! I found this list on facebook and saw some little blue tags with a girl’s shilhouette on them, but couldn’t find that printable. I would love to know where to find that one, it was darling. Any help you could offer in helping me find that printable would be most appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi Angie! Just wanted to contact you about using a couple of your vintage portraits on our church website. We’re doing a promotion for our church directory, trying to encourage folks to get in and get their photos taken and I wanted to do a slide using the couple that could be a wedding photo and the one of the grandma in the garden. While it’s not exactly a “commercial” use, it’s a little more than a “personal” use so I wanted to be sure and have permission before using them! I’m a big fan of your blog and Facebook page and have gained so much inspiration from you! Thanks so much!
